Safely Home

We are home, dear Friends, in Heaven;
   Oh, so happy and so bright!
Where there's perfect joy and beauty
   In His everlasting light.

Here with Father Abraham,
   Sheridan, Grant, and Lee.
Jackson beckons 'cross the river,
   For us to rest beneath his tree.

All pain and grief is over,
   Every restless tossing passed;
We are now at peace forever,
   Safely home at last.
